When you visit

Our host processes standard server logs, such as IP addresses, to serve and protect the pages.

We count visits with Umami, a cookie-free analytics tool that runs on our own server. It stores no cookies and no IP addresses, does not identify you, and shares nothing with third parties. It records only the page, the referring site, and the browser, device type and country.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and see which pages are useful, so we can improve the site. It loads on every visit. The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and Google LLC (USA).

What it collects: the pages you view and how you move between them, your device and browser type, your approximate location (country or city, worked out from your IP address), and the site that sent you here (referrer).
IP address: Google receives your IP address to deliver the service. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
Cookies: Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_* in your browser to tell visits apart. They last up to 2 years.
Transfer to the USA: data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its Swiss-US extension) and also uses the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and improving it.
How to opt out: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

The shop is not open yet. When it opens, this page will list who processes payment and delivery details, what they store and for how long, before the first order is taken.

Honk Studio (our TikTok tool)

Honk Studio is an internal tool we use only to upload our own videos to the Honk Industries TikTok account as drafts. When the account owner connects it, TikTok gives us an access token and basic profile info (display name, avatar, open ID). We use them only to upload videos to that account's drafts. We do not read, store or share data about other TikTok users. Tokens are kept on our own server and deleted when access is revoked; you can revoke access any time in TikTok under Settings → Security → Manage app permissions.

Your rights

If you are in Switzerland, the EU/EEA or the UK you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and object to its use. Write to industrieshonk@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days.
